Jessica Oostergo, masks and costumes designer for our young audiences show Le Merveilleux Voyage d’Inès de l’Ouest, designed the set and costumes for The Marvelous Wonderettes. This production will be presented at the Chemainus Theatre Festival on Vancouver Island on February 14th.

Cory Haas (NoShow Vancouver, Simon has always loved to dance) will lead “The Composition Lab” on March 7th and 8th, with his company no comment.’s. th(e)âtre. This workshop for professional artists will explore several contemporary approaches, including a practice that encourages creativity, risk-taking, playfulness and collaboration. 

Hubert Lemire is currently finalizing the writing of Faux-amis, a bilingual theatre play co-written with English-speaking author Alexis Diamond. The play is a political and humoristic huis clos featuring a French-speaking Quebecer and an English-speaking Montrealer. 

Emilie Leclerc, previously seen in Unité Modèle, Bonjour, là, bonjour and Mathieu Mathématiques (Jessie Award), will be the director of Le Merveilleux Voyage d’Inès de l’Ouest. The show will open on March 21 at Studio 16 before touring in schools.

Anaïs West (NoShow Vancouver) recently produced She, Mami Wata & The pussy Witchhunt for Frank Theater. Presented at the Push Festival in Vancouver January 29-February 1st, the show is a feminist performance blending the relationship to personal identity, sexuality, gender, religion and the consequences of colonization.

Anaïs Pellin and Annie Lefebvre (Le Soulier) presented, a few days ago, the result of their workshop with Le Théâtre de la Pire Espèce at Presentation House Theatre. During two weeks, they worked on research and creation around miniature objects and live camera.
