You are sitting in the theatre. They are standing on stage. Suddenly they leap into the air, twist around and land on the ground. You applaud. They fall, get back up and put themselves in danger. For you. Weaving the multiple invisible threads between you and them without rest, eight performers with heightened sensibility, stretch these links in all directions, searching, at every moment, for the balance between soaring and falling. Through this exploration of the role of the “other”, emerges a succession of scenes, at times hilarious, at times dazzling, linked to each other by the conviction that no person is an island. Presented more than 400 times throughout the world since its creation in 2012, Séquence 8 is an explosive mix of circus, dance and theatre, which will leave you suspended, with a smile on your face, between fascination and elation.
